Let’s dive in…

I have the instructions for a ghost gun but need a suggestion on where to purchase the 80% part?

– Patrick P

Answer: There are a ton of stores that sell the parts online. One of the most popular is Polymer80. The Glock Store also sells all the parts you need.

Is there an any body armor I can wear comfortably under my clothes?

– Larry T

Answer: The thing about wearing body armor everyday is that it’s incredibly uncomfortable.

Talk to any police officer and they will tell you that it’s hot, sweaty and burdensome when trying to move around.

I have worn body armor plenty of times in my past life, but only when needed. I wouldn’t wear it daily unless it was part of a dangerous job.

I keep getting scammy phone calls sometimes up to 10 a day! How do I make it stop?

– Ann I

Answer: I would contact your cell phone or landline service provider and ask them if they have any way to block scam phone calls.

Most cell phone carriers can provide some type of scam blocker but they may charge you a small fee to have this service.

Also, if the calls are coming from the same number you could block that number from your phone. Lastly, ditch your phone number and get a new one.

How can I evade GPS tracking on my cell phone?

– Walter O

Answer: The fact is, GPS tracking is in many devices we use these days including smartphones and tablets.

Now, some older flip phones don’t have GPS tracking, which is why I still use a flip phone that’s older than dirt.

You can turn off the GPS on smartphones, however, if the phone is hacked or compromised in any way you could still be tracked.

So, if you wanted to be 100% safe, you would never use a smart phone, you would use an old flip phone.

How can I browse the internet without being tracked?

– Ron M

Answer: I recommend using a virtual private network (VPN), which encrypts your data you send over the internet network making it more secure.

The VPN I personally use is called TunnelBear and it can be used on your computer, tablet, and smartphone.

Most VPN’s charge a fee, but it’s well worth the cost to keep your data safe.

Some VPN’s do offer free trials but these are usually slower speeds or have data limits.

No matter what you do, make sure you use a VPN that is reputable and doesn’t track your history.

In addition, you’ll need to use a search engine that does not track you. DuckDuckGo is a popular one.

I am investigating home security systems since I’m not home often. What are some things I should look for in a good home security system?

– Kirk R

Answer: I would decide whether you want to install a Do It Yourself system or have a professional company come to your home and install it for you.

Before deciding this, I would check with your local police department and ask them if they respond to residential alarms.

In most large cities, police don’t respond to residential alarms and the company providing your security system usually has a security guard respond to the alarm so you would want a reputable company.

Now, as far as what you want in an alarm system, make sure you get sensors on every door and every window of your house… get motion sensors for the inside of the house and get glass-break sensors for your windows.

You want your place to be like Fort Knox when the alarm is turned on (whether it’s in “away” mode and you’re not home or if it’s in “home” mode when you are sleeping at night.)

Don’t forget to get security cameras for the outside of your home and motion sensor lights around your home.
