3 Rifles To Buy Before An Assault Weapons Ban

One evening, a 61-year old disabled man was at his home in Summerfield, Florida.

The man lives in a mobile home on about 20 acres with dense woods and a single one-lane driveway.

Around 7 pm, the homeowner said he heard a knock at the door.

He recognized the man knocking as someone  he’d done a Craigslist transaction with.

The homeowner didn’t answer the door, but noticed the man looking through the window.

The male said he needed help with his vehicle but the homeowner told him he couldn’t help him and that he needed to leave.

A few hours later, the homeowner was awakened by a loud noise, then he saw a masked person inside his home.

The homeowner grabbed his AR-15 and exchanged gunfire with the intruder.

After shooting the masked intruder he noticed another person inside the home.

The homeowner fired again striking the second intruder. Two other suspects ran away from the home after hearing the gun shots.

The two were later arrested after a police K-9 tracked them to a wooded area.

The two suspects who were not shot admitted they planned to rob the homeowner of his guns.

They said they kicked in the front door of the home and then heard gunshots.

The two surviving intruders were charged with home invasion robbery with a firearm.

Two of the intruders died from their injuries.

One of the dead intruders was carrying a shotgun and wearing a mask.

The other deceased intruder was carrying a semi-auto pistol.

Detectives said there will be no charges against the homeowner.

Not only is this a case of a homeowner defending their life, but it is also an example of being outgunned 4-to-1.

There are countless cases where homeowners have used AR-15’s to successfully defend their home.

But, as you know, President Biden has said he would sign a law to ban “assault weapons”.

Of course, I hope AR-15s never get banned and I own a bunch of them myself.

But, if you’re worried about them getting banned, here are the top rifles to buy now…

AR-15:

It’s no surprise this is number one on the list.

The AR-15 is one of the most produced rifles in America.

The rifle is customizable and user-friendly.

Shooters can change the rifle to their liking.

Plus, using 30 round magazines in the rifle allows you to deal with more than one threat.

The AR-15 operates on a gas system and is usually chambered in 5.56/.223.

Not only does the AR-15 use the 5.56 NATO round, but you can swap out the upper receiver and change to different calibers.

Of course, everyone makes their version of the AR-15 but they are not all the same, and you get what you pay for.

So, when purchasing an AR-15, one of the most important factors is that you buy a mil-spec rifle. Buy quality and do not go cheap.

AK47:

The AK47 is a battle-tested rifle that has been in use for decades.

The classic AK47 platform operates on a gas piston system and is chambered in 7.62×39 caliber.

Its simple design makes the rifle extremely reliable. It doesn’t have the same kind of malfunctions as the AR-15.

The AK is not pretty, but gets the job done.

On the other hand, it is nowhere near as accurate as the AR.

Be careful when buying an AK because there are many cheap versions from other countries.

If you are looking for an AK47 check out companies such as Palmetto State or Century Arms.

FN SCAR 17S:

This rifle is expensive, and for good reason.

It was designed to compete with the M16 and M4 in military operations.

The rifle is chambered in 7.62X51 NATO/.308 WIN.

The SCAR 17S is built on a gas piston operating system similar to the AK47. But, it is easy to clean and maintain.

And the rifle is capable of making long-distance shots that the AR-15 and AK cannot.

This rifle has plenty of stopping power and has a side-folding stock and built-in adjustable cheek riser.

It’s a very versatile rifle and could take down a bear with one shot.

The biggest drawback to the FN SCAR is that it costs around $3,500.

But, you will be getting a high-quality rifle.

So, if you are considering getting a rifle, consider one of  these before it’s not legal to buy them.
