High-capacity magazine shortage? Get these 3 before it’s too late.

Recently, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals threw out California’s ban on high-capacity ammunition magazines.

The court ruled the law violates the U.S. Constitution’s protection of the right to bear arms.

Judge Kenneth Lee ruled that California’s ban on magazines with over a 10-round capacity “strikes at the core of the Second Amendment — the right to armed self-defense.”

But, even after the ruling, gun owners can’t immediately buy high-capacity magazines.

That’s because a stay issued by a lower court judge remains in place.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom defended the law as a vital gun violence prevention measure, which, of course, is nonsense.

The ruling has national implications because other states have similar restrictions.

But, this ruling only applies to Western states under the 9th court’s jurisdiction.

The 9th Court’s decision upholds a 2017 ruling by San Diego-based U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez.

Judge Benitez blocked a new law that would have barred gun owners from possessing magazines holding more than 10 rounds.

But he and the appeals court went further, declaring unconstitutional a state law that had prohibited buying or selling such magazines since 2000.

That law had let those who had the magazines before then keep them, but barred new sales or imports.

Gun groups estimate that more than a million high-capacity magazines flooded into California before the ruling three years ago.

So, once the stay from the lower court expires, you can expect a buying frenzy on these magazines.

Which means now is the time to stock up on magazines – before the mad rush begins.

There are many reasons that having higher capacity magazines makes sense.

The most obvious reason for using high-capacity magazines is so you don’t have to reload as often.

Having 30 rounds allows you more shooting time than 10 rounds.

In a survival situation, you definitely want high-capacity magazines.

Plus, having 30-round magazines means you can carry the same number of magazines but get triple the ammunition.

People forced to own only 10-round magazines have to replace their loss of rounds by buying more mags.

That not only takes up more room in your pack or gear pouches…

It adds more potential reload scenarios – where things could go deadly wrong – to any gunfight.

The goal of most gun owners is to protect their family.

Having more rounds in your weapon can increase your ability to defend your family.

Besides, what if your attackers have high-capacity magazines, you don’t want to be outgunned.

That said, here are some popular high-round magazines you may wish to get before the buying rush starts.

Because you can never have enough guns, ammo or magazines.
